Air Band Performance

So, most people ask me what Air Band is. Well, it's like when your joking around and you start playing your air guitar to a Bon Jovi song except its a whole band using "air instruments and microphones". This was a game for our assembly. I was chosen by my math teacher, Mrs. Petit, along with my fellow Year 1 Math teammates. Which was MacKenzie(singer in the wagon), Tristen (guitarist), Taif (drummer).

You want the real deal or the fake deal?

For Science Fair my friend and I's project is if the human nose can detect the difference between real and synthetic scents. So today we went to the grocery store and looked for "fake" scents. One of our scents is a banana. Soooo, we figured if we needed a fake scent, imitation scents will do!:) So if you don't want the real thing in your banana cream pie, head over to Albertsons and buy yourself some imitation banana extract. It is made of (in the order of highest to smallest amounts) water, alcohol, natural and artificial flavors, and FD&C Yellow 5. Ain't that just sound yummy?

So imagine...
you have 6 quaters(yes, the ones with one side of George Washington's face on it) And you place 3 of those quaters on a tissue then place the other 3 quaters on the left of the already placed quaters. Then imagine that you paint it entirely yellow-green then add red lines in the middle. Now imagine that coming out of your nose. That was MY experience of the day. Can't u IMAGINE how pleasant that was?? Awesome...(sarcasm intended)

I woke up this morning to a warm invitaion from my sister, Tabitha, to go to the Arizona Taco Festival with her today and I agreed. It took place in Scottsdale. There was a bunch of tents set up to try different local mexican shops' tacos. They were delish!

This story isn't the most exciting but getting this picture wasn't an everyday adventure... My mom was taking my friend Sabrina and I to the movies and she desperately needed gas. So we stopped at Costco's gas station. Across the exit to the gas station was this sign. With elections coming up I've seen this sign many times and kept thinking about how awesome it would be to have a picture of me with the sign. So when I saw this sign I said "Mom! I HAVE to get this picture" She agreed because Sabrina and I had nothing better to do while she filled the tank. Coincidentally I had our camera with me because I had a video project at school where I used it. So Sabrina and I crossed the street and Sabrina graciously took my picture. I can't wait until next elections...
